SIMPLE SALSA - Recipe

It only takes a few minutes on the web or in a bookstore and you can find hundreds, even thousands of recipes for SALSA.

This recipe is a simple one for making a basic fresh Salsa that you can put together quickly, anytime, and it will always taste great.

INGREDIENTS:

1              Med.     Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1              Med.     Red Onion, chopped
3              lg.           Tomatoes, chopped
4              tbs.        Red Wine Vinegar
1              tbs.        Lemon Juice
1              tsp.        Cumin, ground
3              tbs.        Parsley, chopped
1              tsp.        Salt
1              tsp.        Pepper, rough grind
1              tbs.        Hot sauce

DIRECTIONS:

1.       Combine the Green pepper, Onion, Parsley in a blender until finely chopped.
2.       Remove the mixture from the blender and add to the chopped tomatoes in a bowl.
3.       Stir in the Vinegar, Lemon Juice and hot Sauce.
4.       Heat the Cumin in a saucepan at low heat for two minutes.
5.       Add the Cumin to the mixture and stir together well.
6.       Add the Salt and Pepper, and place in a covered bowl.
7.       Chill the mixture until ready to serve.

NOTE: This recipe only uses a small amount of Hot sauce, but you can experiment with adding a few sliced Jalapeno Peppers, a little more hot sauce, or another of your favorite Spicy ingredients to heat things up a little.

NOTE: Using Fresh Ingredients in anything is a good thing, and a really good Salsa is not exception, so take a few extra minutes to find the freshest ingredients you can.
